Encaustic & Metal
Inspired by the elegance of flowers in bloom, each encaustic and metal piece is crafted using molten beeswax, natural resin, and brass or copper. Through etching, oxidation, layering, and the luminous qualities of encaustic, these materials are transformed into richly textured compositions with remarkable depth and dimension.
Mosaic
Inspired by the interplay of light, color, and texture, this emerging collection explores the beauty of stained-glass mosaics through a combination of oil paint, stained glass, and layers of resin— exhibited recently at the Gallery of Contemporary Mosaics in Chicago, a meaningful and unexpected milestone.
